Anyone thinking about moving to San Antonio ought to look at the Schertz area. They have some nice houses out there. Also along the north side along 1604. Nice places there too.

Locals generally won't stop you as fast as State Troopers.......
In 11 months been stopped 5 times; three trooper stops where they crossed the interstate to come after me for no other reason and twice in Ft. Worth....
Only gotten warnings so far (just bought a Stillen frt plate holder - removable)
I'm an old guy and I think they let me off because of that reason, the trooper was easily the worst!!
An attorney told me the problem with the current alcohol laws that they will use this as excuse for probable cause to do the stop; if they suspect alcohol there is no other means than you are going to jail for testing.......they also use it because of the unlawful types with nice cars (they can afford anything) --

I haven't had a plate on for about 2 years since I got the car, Cops wont pull you over for that and most of the time will just give you a warning. (From my experience) Although I keep the front plate under my driver seat just incase, slap it on the dash and its visible to the front no prob. And the rear plate law sucks I got 1 warning for it cause I was caught speeding 39 in a 30 but anyways not really a big deal.

For a while I have put it on the dash but supported up against the glass vertical to be seen from the front with a towel supporting it. Haven't been botherd but????????
Didn't have a frt plate on my Mazda Protege for 9 years and never got stopped!!!!
But seriously, two troopers - two different times crossed I-45 and came in pursuit ONLY for the no frt plate!!!!!!!!!
As you can tell I think the frt plate is just aggravating garbage... Just think if the state only required one and charged the same amount of how much new revenue they could generate............
