I'm from San Antonio too. I moved here about a month ago from Austin. Being looking for other Z enthusiast to get to know them. I own a 2005 Performance in Daytona Blue.

I am from SA, Looks like everyone on this board is either from Houston or Austin. I have seen some people meeting at the Best Buy but they seem to wait till around 10:00. That too late for us old farts. I wish we did something like Biff Buzbys.

 

I live in San Antonio as well. The only problem is that I do not have a Z, yet... In the mean time I have been posting here and waving at near every Z I see on the roads.

JMR, did you just graduate from UT, or move here for other reasons? Just thought I would ask.

hey gang. I'm also in SA. Drive a silverstone z with black adr m-sports. There is a Z club in town...I believe they can be located on the web. Otherwise, as was noted before, a lot of cars meet at Best Buy on San Pedro from 9:30-10:30 or so. Not a lot of Z representation, but you get to see the competition (mustangs/sti/evo/POS's with wings --ad nauseum). Stop by sometime, always looking to meet Z owners. My name is Geoff (Jeff)....I try to stop by for a while every friday. Also, there's another regular named Kris who drives a black Z . Be forewarned, there are a lot of kids there, and they dont always present a pillar of maturity.

 

Sup Geoff, its Chris. The one with the black Z with black adr m-sports. I finally got my kit in man. Will be doing the preparation phase today(08-26-05). Its like a 15 page process man, probably take me 2-3 hours, so i dont think im going to be able to hit up best buy tonight. Saturday will the the installation phase. Since the kit is used, a lot of things are already assembled for me. The charger is already mounted to the bracket, the fuel pump is already assembled, all thats left is wiring up the fmu. I cant wait man, i would like to get it tuned next friday but i still need to wait for the 7lb pulley to come in. Hit me up when you get this man, peace.

Nope, but i do know which one you are talking about. Pretty clean car but from what i hear the guy bought the car like that, so.....

 

its no fun when you dont do everything from the ground up, but its pretty tight though.

 

how's the procharger project doing? will you be @best buy on friday?

 

the procharger is in the car. All im waiting for is a tune. I have gotten into a little boost, and just last night did a couple WOT runs but only until about 5.5k rpm. I dont want to risk blowing it, so im trying to keep it from hitting redline. I am waiting for the J&S safeguard($530 shipped-way too expensive), to come in and once i get that in, im going to get it dyno tuned. Once i get it tuned, i'll give u a ride in it. But yeah i will probably be at best buy on friday, i usually am. I'll look for you, peace.

yo chris lee wuts goin on man its zack. im sellin my rsx for an 04 silverstone touring roadster. i should be gettin it saturday, cant wait. i was wondering if u still had david's intake. if so, ill buy it off you forsure! also i was wanting to put the rims i had on my rsx on the Z, but the tires are all 225's. i should be cool if i get a pair of 245's for the rear right? also wut do u think of the coupe compared to the roadster. i know the coupe has better performance and all, but the droptop is so clean...
