Oh Man....
I step away from the forum for a few days and somebody hijacks my cruise (just kidding).

Sorry boys...that cruise is a little too far for me...besides, my original plan was to go around the 610 Loop so that we wouldn't get lost or seperated (a common complaint of previous cruises).
So I'm stickin' with my original idea. I thought it would give us the opportunity to do something a little different and unusual.
Anybody is welcome to start off with us and peel off when you get to that exit.
Either which one you choose....drive safe...the idiots are out there in bunches !!!

with the help of club member Steve Sellers, we've gotten a place to exit on the North Side for our cruise this Saturday Night.

Here's the plan:
meet in the parking lot, just South of Doneraki's Mexican Food Restaurant. Just inside the 610 Loop South, on the West Side of I-45. It's in the Gulfgate Shopping Complex.

We'll meet around 8pm (I may be a little late due to a prior commitement). We're planning on pulling out at 9pm, heading West. We'll cruise the 610 Loop till we get to the North Side, where we'll exit on the North Durham/Shepard Exit. Here, we'll re-convene at the Home Depot (recommended and scouted out by club member Steve Sellers). Maybe grab a Coke and a burger at the Whataburger (or whatever else is available in that area). After a time (maybe an hour), we'll pull back out to continue on our journey, winding back up at the original starting point.

We'll stay on the 610 Loop the whole way. No one should get lost or seperated.
Construction MIGHT be our only problem (when is it not?) Have you ever been over the Houston Ship Channel Bridge at night?...it's strangely beautiful with all the refinaries all lit up and downtown off in the distance (to your right).
Sound like a plan?

Although it is semi-flooding here in Santa Fe right now...WeatherBug says that tomorrow night should be nice...so I think we should plan on making an event out of it !
