Arrow How about ideas for the next Dallas meet!

I was thinking we meet up again on January 18th--it's a Saturday. Just wondering what y'all felt like munching on and what places had really good parking lots. I wanted to get this started with lots of notice so no one would have an excuse not to be there (including myself!).

Sounds good to me. The Rice Boxx was good, but something different this time would be cool. What about that Bone Daddy's place?

That's been done twice, I think. So I was trying to think of places that we haven't met at yet. Texadelphia is AWESOME, but I haven't seen one that has great parking, yet.

I'm totally open to suggestions, I just want to make sure we have a great turn out!

I'm game.....should have Nismo fascia on by then.

I'm open to just about anything as far as food goes. My favorite is Sushi, but something tells me we would have a hard time getting a majority vote on that one.

let me know....

There's a Texadelphia in the shopping center near Spring Creek Rd & Preston Rd in Plano. They seem to have very adequate parking available.

If all else fails, there's always the Sat night Starbuck's meet near Park Blvd & Midway Rd in Plano. It's next to a Pei Wei so we can chow on good Americanized Chinese food, have a frappuchino or two afterwards, then see some really fast cars (LS-1's, Supras, RX-7's, 300ZX's, etc.) zip up and down George Bush into the wee hours of the morning.

Michael.

Thanks for the info, Michael!

So how does Texadelphia (Spring Creek and Preston) sound to everyone? Around 1 or 2?

Agh! The only agony is that it will be just before I get my car! Oh well, it will still be a great meet! Let's see how many people we can get to schow up!

Alright! That's one person there! And I'll be there for sure, I don't care what comes up--they'll just have to work around my Z meet.

Wow... uh... I like Texadelphia as much as the next guy, but that was just a suggestion. Looks like I'll have go eat there and make sure there will be adequate parking.

Anyway, here is a Y! map.

Oh yeah, if everything ultimately fails, then we can always go crash the car show at Chuck's. I think the shows are still hosted by xtremecorvettes.com and I think they have an import class.

Michael--I can go check it out. Not a big deal. If that doesn't work, we can always change the plan.

Hah! Methinks you want an excuse to sneak a philly cheesesteak in before the meet.

But that's ok w/ me.

You should come out even if you don't have your car. I won't get mine until next month. :sigh: But at least I can stare at everyone else's.

Like I said in some other old thread Christi, I'll let you drive mine. It's one of my rules: Anyone that's driven at least 30 mph faster than the fastest speed I've driven, I'll let drive my car. It takes some serious guts to drive over 175 mph, and I respect the hell outta that. I just wish I could have the opportunity...

Actually, it doesn't really take guts, it takes pure insanity. Remember, I'm one of those adreneline junkies that loves to see what she can live through.

I'm getting really ancy about the car now, because it's so close to being here! I'll be permanently grinning ear to ear when I finally drive it home! (My finace and I are in a mad dash to make sure I can park my baby in the garage--right now we've got all our crap from moving in there.)

What about an evening meet, let's say Friday the 17th or even during the day (although I know most will be working)? The main reason being that I have to work Sat And the other reason being that we haven't had one in the evening (to my knowledge). If not then maybe I can work some magic for the original posted time frame......Thanks > Ricky
