That style of game is just boring to watch, and there is a reason why it is not in the NFL that much or why it doesn't succeed, just look at Vick he gets a lot of action but when the opposing team is fast he has no chance, if UT had played a better faster defense they would have had a harder time of it.
To me the running game is done by the RUNNING BACKS not the QB alone, lame gameplan they just lucked out the USC defense sucked.

But you would have us believe that a team should consciously NOT run a type of play that the opposing defense is vulnerable to? And your comparison to T-ballers being able to steal first because 'no one knows what is going on' just doesn't work here. Everyone knew exactly what was going on, but STILL couldn't stop it. Like the ESPN College Gameday commentators (who I suspect know a little more about college football than you or me) said: "The greatest clutch performance by any player in a national championship game, ever."

Young simply put his team on his back and did exactly what a leader and playmaker is suppose to do. RUNNING and PASSING!!!!

Not to change the subject but did anyone see the Leno show the next day. Vince was on and Leno asked him if he was coming back and he said he doesn't know for sure. I think the dollars are cha chinging in his head and he will be long gone. Even after he has said that he will be back. Opinions?
I'm a Tigers fan all the way but I'm certainly glad that USC finally got what they had coming to them. I think this picture is perfect for the occasion:

Dear God...being from LA, I can vouch for that and the disappointment he brought to the Saints. That wasn't even funny. Saban seems to be liking him in Miami though...despite his odd "traveling" to other countries (read smoking a lot of dope)...hehe.
