You guys do realize that it will be completely DARK by this time right? Not to mention forecast is calling for 40's & 20's next Saturday! Obviously the ealier in the day, the warmer with the SUN. I mean if it's "Dark & Freezing" don't you guys think the meet will be uhhm, thin at best?
Just wondering yall's thoughts. Let me know.

i WAS interested in going to the meeting if it were the original scheduling... 1pm'ish at texadelphia. i dont feel like driving to addison and standing outside in freezing temperature.

here is what i am doing... i will be at texadelphia at 1pm on saturday... if people show up, then it will considered a "meet". if no one comes around, then it will be just "lunch."

Always the weather man, ay Marcus? lol I was starting to wonder what this meet was going to be like, myself. I know we'll have the back half of the parking lot, but I know I wouldn't want to stand around outside if it's that cold out. I'm a Texan, we don't like cold weather.

But this meet is Albert's car club. They invited us along so they could check out the Zs and we could check out their rides. I'd check with him to see what the details are.

 

i am trying to take Sat the 18 off so i can go. If SkidaZZle is going to be in plano at 1pm ill be there i can't waite to see that Nismo kit in person.!! i would also be up for the All import meet that night so i gess ill do both!!

 

Ohhhhhhhhhh! Okay. I forgot that was another meet where we were invited along, which is cool and all, BUT! Darkness & Coldness Yeah gang, we definitely need to meet at the usual 1 - 2 time where we can see each other. We don't be all hudled up over a make shift fire now do we? Well I'm definitely down for the earlier timeframe. I'm gonna see if my boy with the Baddest M3 in Dallas can show up along with a couple other guys that were with me in the Hot Import Night Car Show back in August!

I know it's Texas and we aren't use to the cold, but we do have the back half of the bar reserved as well for our meet and if we need to we can also utilize their party room as well., so we can check out each other's rides then go inside for food and to chat and most of all be warm.......... I also have confirmation of some Subarus WRX's showing up as well. The time is staying the same at 6pm. I'll be showing up at 5:30pm. Hope to see ya'll there.

Wasn't last weekends meeting at Texadelphia? Although I missed it and all, we should at least hit another spot besides Texadelphia if there's going to be another meet on the 18th. As for the evening meet with the other crew, it's going to be chilly but, what the hell i'm from the east coast. If you guys are game for speeding through there for a minute i'm in.

 

Actually right next to that spot is the Purple Cow (Burgers, Malts, etc.) and they have this one parking area with @ 20 spots right in front (closest to Preston) let me know. And if you guys know me, then you know I'm always down for Mexican.

 

Fortunatley I got the day off and will attend either time frame the majority of Z owners will be at. It looks like 1pm at Texadelphia on Sat the 18th......???????? Ricky

 

that evening place is just around the corner from my hotel, but if there aren't any z owners going, i would pass on that and go to the gathering at 1, if others are going, I'm up for both!

 

I'm game for both times. I can never pass up a chance to hit Texadelphia!

I'm hoping to install the Grounding Kit I just got in the mail today Saturday morning. I'm not a big DIYer, but hopefully I can get it done in a reasonable amount of time. I have directions on how to do it but any advice would be greatly appreciated.


My plan if anyone is interested is to head over to Texadelphia at 1pm Sat, and gauge the interest of heading over to the later meeting at 6pm. The later meeting will probably be a game time decision.

Just to clarify some things here:

The evening meet on the 18th is at 6pm at Mondo's Resturant and Bar. We have reserved the back parking lot and the back half of the bar (we can also use their party room if needed). So we won't be outside all the time. Most likely we will be inside and enjoying the heat and the food. Hope to Z-ya'll there.

 

I will be there...for both, if that's what the group wants to do.

Jan 18th I was planning on going to the Informal Statewide Texas meet, that Captial of Texas Z has scheduled in Austin, that starts at 10:00am according to their website. Is this a seperate get together you are discussing? What city?

 

Sorry for the confusion. These are local Dallas area meets. We've been juggling all this back and forth for a while, trying to figure out what we're going to do.

 

i'll try and make it out myself.. I went to a couple 350z meets and missed a couple.. hmm if i go will anyone wanna run a automatic Trans Am with headers intake lid and cutout from a stop..say 4 car lengths head start to your advantage? hehehehe jk.. see u guys there!
