Guys,

Let's just keep it simple and keep it what it was intended to be from day one.

This is a meet of fellow Z's & G's only. Whomever shows up show up.

With all the response I do expect it to be a large turnout, but not car show level which is not what we want anyway.

Let's just leave it as a meet and if folks want to cruise later that evening,
then that's great. We should all hang out atleast from 2-6.

I agree that getting permission is not needed and that we can find somewhere that is both visible and close to establishments for food and drink.

So let's just try to decide on a location, agree on it, and get the word out about the location change.

I have made a couple suggestions, so let's keep them coming and try not to get into the politics.

Alrite... well, since nobody is coming up with any great places.. why don't we decide on a city first.. that way it's easier to narrow it down to a single spot?

Also, 350Track mentioned this earlier, and I believe now it's all the more imperative if we want to get the word out about our meet and the changes. He suggested that we put the Z meet info in our signatures, which I think might help especially now that things have changed.

I don't know, whatever.

Are school parking lots not allowed? I've seen some meets being held at high school parking lots, because they're big and empty on the weekends.. just asking..

 

I agree with the same Localle. We just need a new pad.

 

Let's stick with Grapevine....at least we've got that going for ourselves. There are a whole bunch of restaurants/shopping areas in Grapevine that we could just meet at. I'd like to be able to just walk to a restuarant once we get hungry.

 

I say we just move over to the Bass Pro / Embassy parking lot. It is big enough and it is easy to find. There has been shows there in the past. If we want to cruise some were 121, 114, and 635 are right there. I would just show up and do not call Bass pro in advance. It can be that simple.

Plus we can play hide and go seek inside Bass Pro....oh wait....I'm not a kid anymore so that would be wrong to do.

 

okay...since I instigated this mess I am going to stop the madness.....Embassy Suites Grapevine lot on the side that is facing west, for those directionally challenged if you are facing the front of bass pro go to the left and follow it all the around to the hotel, i am saying this because the bass pro lot will be packed to the east due to the weekend......thats it 2:00 June 3rd...

I think Grapevine would be great, and 2pm sounds good also. I think we should deft. cruise somewhere after the meet!! So we can get a nice video!!!

I will start calling the Z/G guys over here and get atleast 2 or 3 of them to cruise down with me.
