Anyone else do the Car Show today at the convention?
I did and I don't mind admitting, I'm pooped out.
Also, can you say Crispy Critter. The sun was intense.
Saturday is supposed to be even hotter. Hint Hint.

Bass Pro is the 1st Saturday night show. This is a great big show that everyone loves it was just too hot for Sunday's! This is a great location! Show time is 1:00-5:00. Hmm... well our meet is at the Embassy Hotel at 2:00PM June 3rd, correct? Is our place far enough from them that we wouldn't be affected by their large number of crowd and cars? Moving our location now may cause confusion. Great..

I say we just go and see what's up when we get there.
I'm sure we can find a solution after we get there and asess the
location better.
I'm not going to sweat it. I just wanted everyone to be aware
that there may be some last second movement if necessary.
The very worst cases scenario is we all pay $10 and join the car show.

There is a HUGE Car Show (open to all for prizes) sponsored and located at the CAR TOYS in Frisco this Saturday!
I have been asked to enter and it is convieniently 10 min up the street.
We shall see......

I don't see why we would have to join their car show if we're doing it at the embassy hotel.
If we do decide to move, we're going to have to find a way to tell the people that are coming late.
Anyway, hopefully, their thing doesn't affect us as much as we're worrying about it. Thanks for the heads up.

Normally we sit and chill, check out each others' cars... someone usually has something new to show so we all see that. Then we just shoot the proverbial $hit for a while. Sometimes we hop spots for beer or food preference. Sometimes we sit and listen as 350Track makes fun of Neon R/Ts, etc. Ya just never know!
