i know its a little late in the week to be posting this but a few friends of mine and i decided we're going to the baytown drag strip and i thought it'd be cool if like a few other 350z's or G's would join us. it'd be cool to run each other as well. just post if ud like to go or need directions or whatever.

Went last weekend. Track conditions were less than ideal.

 

i was wanting to go tonight, since i put my mrev on wednesday... but its just too hot, i doubt i will dip down into the 13's like i would on a colder day...

 

Nope, you just need more power! or a driver mod...

 

With your mods, you should be able to hit 13s at least a couple of times. I've hit 13s with about the same type of mods as you on a 90 degrees, 70% humidity day/night.

 

well my friend there's only one way to find out if u can dip into 13's...

 

And that's by going to the drag strip and testing your driving skills (not the car since it can do it).

Well I went to houston raceway and did BAD! my first run was a 14.88 and it went downhill from there, by my last run i was in the 16's and feeling bad so i left. Some guy told me that there was a black Z there and i looked but couldnt find him/her. anyway ill scan the slips later.

 

lmao driver mod isnt needed.. ive hit 13.7's before with just intake..

Right.. on a cold day like you've mentioned before that post. 13.7's definitely good. Hopefully, you improve it to even lower times. Did you go today too?

 

nah didnt go yesterday, but im thinking about sunday, since tonight they are doing some kinda event...

Why doesn't Dallas have people wanting to go to the drag strip like you guys? You guys should come up and try the 1/4 mile tracks here.

 

i recall a car with full NA mods running 2 seconds slower then my best time...

 

man id go to dallas but its really far man... and im not too familiar with the streets over there but man why dont u drive down to houston? ill run with u bc like i said earlier it'd be fun to run with other Z's. But i kinda did ****ty too. i got 14.5 at 97 and it kinda pissed me off considering that was my best run friday night. but man whenever u want to go and if u happen to be in houston just let me know because like i said, itd be badass to run with other Z's or even watch its cool.

 

Damn, if I decide to go down there, I hope you guys are better by then. Also, for Gryphin, timeslip for that 13.7 run?

Seriously, I wish we could run each other since it'll probably be fun as hell.

 

don't feel bad my best run so far was a 15.0 haha.

its so slick there it feels like launching in water to me.
