I opened up my civic head lights to clear them out. They're fine now but just seeing glue on the edge makes it feel cheap to me. Now everyone is looking for oem civic head lights due to all the people modifying their head lights.
as long as you take your time and know what your doing then its all good. No problems at all. Lights work fine. no leaks. no shipping. no stress marks from overlays. IMO the overlays make the car look cheap if on the headlights. But thats just my opinion.
