No way. Try 5 years plus. As slow as things are going down there and the whole east part of New Orleans with no power. Its not going to be even remotely close to what it was before. Its ridiculous when you drive east on I-10 at night. None of New Orleans East is lit.(New Orleans Native)

Where do you live? I've been running with no front plates for at least a couple of months but I've been conscious of the cops in the local area.

I live in Huffman Texas but i got the ticket in Humble, like 10 minutes away. I was driving to a friends house to drop him off and next thing you know i am getting oulled over for what seems like no reason. I though he cought me a few miles back when i was going about 8 over the limit but no, he was just an ***. He gave me a ticket even after i explained i drove through some water to save the car from flooding in a parking lot and the water ripped it off. What an ***!

I live in the rio grande valley (mcallen to be exact) and well the cops here seem to have a grudge against imports, especially sport cars and me having a red Z gets lots of looks eventhough its stock. With my pastCelica which was prety decked out it was common to get pulled over for the stupedest things. For those of us Z owners with drilled holes in the bumper can they be eliminated??? Thanks for all the feedback aswell.

So if any one could help me out on this would be great, any links are welcomed aswell.

Front license plate by law is still mandatory in the state of Texas. The sole exception is for cars that qualify as "antiques" - that is, over 25 years or older. Z Club of Texas member Jim Horn got this law passed when he was state senator.

It's ridiculous, yet it's legal for 16 yr. olds to drive and talk on cell phones.
