Gotta say that from talking with Z Club members that have been on this drive in the past - this is a premiere event! I'm new to the club with my new 350Z but I have friends in the club who are long time members that rave about this event. I've rearranged my home/work life so that I will be able to attend this drive. Should be great - all Z's welcome and encouraged to be on this drive! Let's show everyone how much Texans love their Z's!

I'll post pics on this forum (and I'm sure others will also) as soon as the run is over.

Great vova151 - looking forward to seeing how those Volk GT-C 19s look on your 350Z!

David,

Just read the detail at your site. Since Brenham is the midway between Houston and Austin, what's the best place for the Austin Z folks to meet your Houston caravan, Brenham for lunch or somewhere before that?

I'm going to try and make this also. This would be a great chance for me to meet some Z folks from around Austin and elsewhere. I'm picking my Z up in 2 days, so I'm getting it just in time it would appear

Rob,

Congratualtion on your new Z. If you want to meet Austin Z fellows, you might want to come to the next Capital Z of Texas monthly meeting (3/31). You can come check it out first and decide later if you want to join or not. I joined the club 3 months before my 350Z arrived last August, nothing but fun since. Here is the link to the club web site => http://www.capitalzoftexas.com/

Sure, you can start from Austin with us. Well, Atlanta and Texas are both in the southern part of the US.

Lightbulb

Actually, I was thinking that Rodel would take the hint and organize a fun route for the Austin Group and we could kind of hook-up for lunch in Brenham. I've got a couple of things lined up that we could all do in the surrounding area, then we could bid adios and go back to our seperate routes for the trip home (unless you want to come back to Houston with us...and I SURE don't know why you'd want to do that!).
but...
I've heard that some of the Austin Z's are coming in to start the day with us here in Houston and then split off after lunch which is waaaay cool too !!!
All are welcome. We'll have some non-Z drivers too.
It's all about having a good time...

Thumbs up

Rob,
congratulations on the new up-coming Z !!!
It will definately be worth the wait.
...and I definately recommend joining your local Z Club.
There are many advantages...the best of which is that you realize that there are people out there that are more fanatical (and insane) than yourself
...plus, you're fortunate enough to live in a city with one of the cooler Clubs in the country !

If speed kills, do brakes give life ?

Moroccan Mole,
we have GOT to get together to talk about that Injen CAI set-up this Thursday Night at the club meeting. Are you gonna be able to make it?
...oh yea....
anybody in the Houston Area (and I use the term area loosely) is invited to join us for the monthly meeting of the Z Club of Houston. Directions and details are at: www.zcar.org

i will try me best to make it out there... ive been meaning to make it out to the last few meetings but work/school/already bieng drunk at 7pm (happy hour with the houstooks)has been preventing me from coming. i get out of class around 6:30 so ill probably be running a few minutes late.

ive got tomorrow off, if i wake up early enough im gonna try to install the injen cai tomorrow morning ... gotta change the oil, pick up some brake lines at sgp, then drop the car at sterling mccall for them to rip apart the suspension to see what's making noise ... im sure it's a bearing.

so .... if i don't get a chance to install it tomorrow ... it will get done this weekend.
i hate not having time to work on the car
