Any houston people going this year since their not coming to the reliant center. Caravan maybe?

 

So you're going for sure right? I told my wife I was pretty confident that you'll be coming over since the show's not in Houston.

 

Yeah were coming, I don't think I've missed a HIN in years. Venisha wants to take a few days and go somewhere from there since we don't get to go much because of her kids. {God forbid her 19 yr. old daughter should have to watch her little brother}. I was hoping some guys from here could caravan up there. I think that would be a neat trip.

Sorry, I don't know anyone w/an exhaust for sale. What about going back to a Nismo exhaust?

 

I have the nismo, looking for something else {bored}, we're discussing what we're gonna do right now. I'm not sure if we'll be staying at your house though, she's wierd about that, she she wants to get a nice hotel and have "Hotel sex". Are they all like that? But I would like to hook up for the day and catch up. {I want to ride in your car really bad}. I think I'm about to order the VS V2 hood. Intense should have a couple by the end of Sept. I'm anxious for you to see the car. Really looking forward to getting out of Bmt. for a few days.

 

Oh wow, well if you're not staying at the house let me know as soon as you can...that way I know if we should clean up the place, etc (not that it's a mess). But if you want your car inside a garage instead of in a hotel parking lot, my place of course would be the solution...no pressure of course.

At the very least we could meet at my house and then figure out what we'll do from there. So are you thinking Friday or Saturday you'll be here?

I'll gladly take you for a ride in my car. I am really, really wanting to see the silver car and get some side-by-side pictures of both cars together.

 

I'm pretty sure she's booking a room today, how ever we'll be leaving at 6:00 am sharp Sat. morn which should put us there at 11:00ish {lunchtime}, maybe you can pick a restraunt to meet at. It would also be cool to meet some of your Z gang there to if poss. She wants to leave Sun. morn. and head for Austin for a couple of days since she's never been. {she's putting extra miles on my car }. Let me know what you want to do. I'm really looking forward to this.

 

BTW I'll look like a fool coming down the road, I just got the new bumper installed and I thinking of putting blue painters tape on it for the trip.

 

Sorry to interfere with this conversation but I think I saw a post here with a guy in SA trying to sell his single HKS exhaust. Might want to try looking unless he sold it already. Just trying to help.

What do you think of us trying to have a DFW 350z/G35 meet on the afternoon of 10/7/2006. We can meet at a restaurant and then caravan from the meet to the HIN show?

 

Wow, a Z meet and HIN. I must have done something right lately. Absolutely, I had no idea ya'll had a meet the same weekend, double whammy for me. You've made my day.

 

Well, we didn't have a meet planned...but we're going to try and plan one now. I want the trip to be worth it for you + I'm always down for a 350z meet.

Grapevine is a pretty central location between Dallas & Ft. Worth, so I might chose that as a location for 10/7/2006. I'll create a new thread for the 350z meet (hopefully later tonight).

I didn't realize HIN cost so much to get in.

I don't blame you for using the painters tape on that fresh paint...I'm sure it will still be quite soft. Just make sure you stay way back from the car in front of you. I have two front nose masks/hood bras that I use on road trips.
