I'm in the process of trying to set up a show and shine at one of the local Nissan Dealerships. If not there then I will check with Mike at Top Notch Performance; we may be able to incorporate some discounts. I would like to know how many would be interested and what timeframe would you all reccommend. I can make this happen in as little as a few weeks or we can wait until the spring. I would like to have one more gathering before the winter arrives. I would like to get an estimate of how many are willing to attend so I make this worth the time plus I need to make sure we go to a location with enough space. I will look into bar-be-qing, getting a DJ and I was thinking maybe I can get a hold of my professional Photographer here at the office and do some photoshoots.

ahhhh the beginings of a possible car club?? I miss that. I would be interested. I am very new to the area so I wouldn't have any locations for you, but I could have suggestions, such as if you decide on a dealership try and work a discount for the group for oil changes and a set discount for members. We did this in MD,DC,and Va. We actually had it so we had FREE oil changes, and got 20% off other things at the dealership. Numbers help. Dealerships do't want to deal with a group of 5...they want 10+.

I only want to do this if we get at a minimum 10-15 cars. There are plenty of Z's in the SAT & Austin area. Dallas & Houston is to far for this event I would think......although the invite is there! Phil, the only downfall about World Car is maybe their limited parking. I will definately try to push for discounts....I work in Marketing I was also thinking maybe Top Notch, after I talk to Mike and Colt, and possibly work in discounts there. I just wnat to see who all is interested in attending and when would be a good time.

 

Im down. It would be cool to have a meet in sa, hopefully we can get enough cars together. Anytime on the weekends is fine for me!!

 

Top notch would be cool. I hope to have my kit on by then and tuned(390 or 400hp?). WOOPI! Put this in the texas events.

 

Sounds like a plan!! I think in about a couple of weeks would work. Still waiting to get my car out of the shop. But by then I will have some NEW surprises.

I emailed topnotch about sponsorship but they blew me off.

 

I'll even bring my stock '06 down for that Doc. I really do appreciate you guys coming up last week. How about later in November maybe...I have things to finish up the first half. Of course don't hold it up on just me, I'll make things work out either way.

San Antonio already has a solid Z Club in place....Z SPORT !

Like here in Houston, they are undergoing a re-organization. They have a website, but it is being overhauled as we speak.
Now would be a great time to contact the club...kind of get in on the ground floor. I'm sure he would appreciate the help. Come up with ideas and suggestions. Help him organize activities that are of interest to you.

If you're looking for another SA location, I know one of the managers at Gunn Nissan on Bitters & 281. That's more of a central location with a large parking area and easily accessible from all areas of the city. Lots of traffic which will give the event plenty of visibility.

 

thats a good location.. the one on i-10 and huebner has alot of people but not enough parking space. so the bitters one is the best choice i think.

 

I'm in for sure...New to the area and i've been seeing quite a few Z's. It would be great to have a meet.
