Right.
On a side note, watch yourselves with threads like this one. You don't want to name highways, etc. that are great 'speeding roads' because there is always the possibility that a local cop could see this.

A thread like this is just a red flagged invitation to local PD to camp out our favorite places...
Does the OP REALLY think that only NON-LEOs are on this site?
Keep it on the track, (verbally) what anyone does by themselves is entirely THEIR responsibility...
but it makes great sense that when you're doing something illegal... try to keep as low profile as possible... and internet is not one of them...sorry

if you are going to a nascar track have a new set of tires ready
lowe's motor speedway has an invite every year that limits you to 70mph (gay!) but after three or four laps your tires will be on cords!

Cops know most of the streets that people speed on, but there are not enough cops to monitor all the roads all the time, so I doubt if any cop has the time to go through all the forums of the web searching for posts on racing strips, especially when they can park at the bottom of any hill and bust ya for going 1 mph over the limit. Damn we need an autobahn here. Either way, pick a hwy and pray you don't kill yourself or anyone else and don't forget to watch out for bambi!!
