Default Lets Ride Again

On July 15, 2006 Silvrhand put together a great outing. That was the most fun I have ever had since I got my Z.

Lets do it again - what do ya'll think?

here's a clip of that event - video taken by Teah (my Daughter)

The video is a tough load for me. 6 seconds of movement and 12 seconds frozen. Ick!

I was there. Let's do another one. I would prefer northerly rather than southerly. Maybe a Piney Woods cruise?

That was nice but we need to make it a little more intresting. We need to map out some twisty back roads and make it a driving event {not racing} but sport driving. It would be great. I'm def. up for that.

correction
If you guys wanna plan a ride through a rural area with twisties, steep hills with long 2 mi str8 always and 30 miles of open rode and very few cops I know just the place. It’s just up 59 north. I usually go there to relive stress by pushing my car to the limit. If intrested send me a pm sends me a pm

I would prefer the same location again and make it twice a year, this year I won't do it on one of the hottest days of the year. I would also like to fire up the grills and make it more than just standing around talking about cars. I'll make a pass over to another local nissan site or two and see if we can get more. We need to get people out not sure why it's so hard to get people out in Houston.

If you plan a "sport" drive/meet at any point I will be there. But we must stress "this will not be a race",playing around will be fun but I'd hate to see someone wreck their car or worse have to tangle with law. In any case I think this would take off and hopefully become a regular or semi-regular event. I would like to see more Z enthusiast come together in the houston area.

Twisties, maybe a hill, cook out sounds good, no racing but a little "spirit" would be nice, no wrecks and no encounters with the law, yah, that would all satisfy my criteria for "a good meet". Maybe no more than an hour outside the city limits so we don't have to drive too long to get home, too. Ummm.....I just want it perfect, that's all. Here's wishing.

A cook out sound good but does require clean up time which can ultimately take away from spirited driving time. I say pick a place to meet and eat, nothing fancey or pricey, just something everyone can agree on and big enough for a few Z's outside. Since I'm from Bmt. I have no clue of surrounding houston area roads, but I'll show up where ever ya'll decide.

If my car is up and running at the time, I am game for a spirited drive.

I have yet to find a good twisties section anywhere remotely close to Houston, unfortunately we aren't in Pittsburgh anymore god the roads up there were awesome for driving.
