"If you guys wanna plan a ride through a rural area with twisties, steep hills with long 2 mi str8 always and 30 miles of open rode and very few cops I know just the place. It’s just up 59 north. I usually go there to relive stress by pushing my car to the limit. If intrested send me a pm sends me a pm"

I know of a lot and I have a map that I made. But it is 6.9megs. I used to lead motorcycle rides for the Texas Sportbike Association. MOst of the roads are on the NW side of town and North side. Johnny Cash wrote a song about me "I've been everywhere man..." lol.

If you haven't tried it yet, take Memorial from Hwy 6 to downtown. Memorial has lots of ups and downs as you get closer to town.

the Huntsville, Onalaska, Livingston areas have the best I came across, mostly forest service roads that are in great condition and with no cars around. The only roads I found safe enough to get up to 145mph on the straights and with some slighly banked hard corners. That have the tree line far enough back to not worry about losing control

It was I who posted that. no one sent me a pm for directions. the town is up 59N about 30 minuits from deerbrook mall. for one its a relly rual area and its nothing but a cows, open rodes and hillbillies here and there. I think the rode is FM 1316 if im not mistaken well the criuse is well worth it. you guys pick a date and time and ill work on posting the route suggested back here but again pm me for additional info..
the town is in the Kirbyville area going into Spurger TX

here is the route. go to google earth and type in livingston tx, follow that long 4 lane for for about 15 miles and somewhere off that hwy is F.M 1316 I typed in several times but it didnt come up but i know for a fact its there. anyway let me know what you guys think. anyway i was thinking of leaving from dearbrook mall heading up that way and making a u turn back to complete the route in a sprinted route. The drive from kingwood is approx 45 min drive but i promise you guys its worth it. If anyone in the houston area wants to go up there with me to take pics of the route and get the approximate mileage and exact turns and signals of the route I am open to a dry run of like two to three guys to head up that way to make this run throught the twisties legit!!!!

it won't be Jan for me, I've got way so much work going on it'll be Feb before I can scout out the routes, if we find something on the east side I'll run the meet from the same area as last year due to it's really just perfect and easy to get to.

Plenty of parking, not a lot of traffic, and not a lot of cops.

I typed in "fm 1316 livingston, texas" and it found the road. I will head up there with you to check it out, just name the day and time.

Are you talking about the drive to Livingston?
I doubt anyone on this board lives closer then me and it takes me around an hour to get there, from kingwood or houston your looking around 2-3 hours. You know of a road I dont?
I take I45 or Hwy75 to FM 150 then to that 4 lane road your talking about, its fastest way I know, it takes about 1 hour /45 min if your hauling, and I live an hour to Kingwood and Houston

I'll go down with you, I am somewhat familiar with the area, I go there alot

If you are in Kingwood, good roads are just a few minutes North on 59.
Head for Cleveland, go west on Hwy 105 a few miles and pick up FM 1725
North to Hwy 150. Head West on 150 to FM 2698 on the right. This road
has some really fun sweepers It will make a big loop North, then East,
and then back South and drop you out on Hwy 150 again East of where you
came out on 1725. Head East on 150 to FM 945 on the left. FM 945 will
bring you out on Hwy 156 North of Coldspring, turn right look for FM 224
on the left. Run FM 224 North and it will come back out on Hwy 156. FM 224
has some serious curves, but watch for slow moving cagers. When you come
back out on Hwy 156, head North to Point Blank and pick up US 190. Head
East to Onalaska. Go through Onalaska and look for FM 3152 on the left.
Head North on FM 3152 and it will come out on FM 350. From this point,
you can do a nice loop on 350, 942, 1745, US 287, 62, US 59 and 350 again.
Also, the run from Chester to Colmesneil on FM 1745 is real nice, as is the
stretch from Colmenseil to US 190 on FM 256 heading East. If at any point
you get short on time, you can always head for US 59 and boogie home.
You can also head South on FM 1276 from US 190. Then pick up FM 943 and
run West to FM 2798. Note: most of 943 is pretty cool if you run it end
to end. Head South on FM 2798 to FM 787 and head West to Cleveland. Pick
up 59 and go home.
