Well, today I met up with a couple buddies of mine and one of them mentioned that there was going to be a local S2000 meet on Westheimer. I decided that I would go with them to check it out, since I have never been to a meet before. We left at around 8:00 to go meet up with the other S2000 guys that were already at the restaurant, and had a very spirited drive to downtown Houston. Went to the restuarant and met a bunch of great S2000 guys. Turns out, there were a few other meets - so we decided to leave and met up with a few other people a little further down the street. There had to have been at least 10+ Supras, 3-4 RX-7's, 4-5 BMW's, and 4-5 300ZX's... I left a little early from the restuarant, and the S2000 guys arrived like a convoy (bad *** entrance) a little bit after I got there. Have to say that I've never seen so many high performance sports cars in a parking lot all at the same time, it was incredible!! I spoke to a lot of guys and they all seem to be friendly and easy to talk to. I was surprised that the only 350Z that I saw there was Morrocean_Mole's DB Performance. I encourage you guys to drive down Westheimer around the Galleria area. The have meets almost every weekend there on Saturday nights, and it is a great place to meet ppl and talk about cars, maybe get some ideas for the next mod or some help with problems you might be having with your Z. Well, I hope you Houston guys read this. I'd like to meet some fellow Houston Z owners thats for sure!!
