Default Anyone having puppies anytime soon?

I just moved into a home and want to get a dog. I checked out the animal shelters but its a gamble going there because all the cute dogs are taken already before you get there

Im trying to find a black lab or maybe a husky. Ill be willing to travel if I have to.

I'd go to a breeder before I'd adopt. Just b/c you may not be getting a pure bred dog and temperament and personality can't really be molded anymore. Look in the paper....good breeders are usually out in the sticks (for lots of room for pins and such).

houston is probably the best place to get a dog, check chron.com, houston greensheet, and craigslist

i did some light reading on huskies... they love to run... even the most well trained dogs will run off if you give just a split second off the leash... the best way to get them to stop...

... drop to the ground and start bawling... they will sometimes come back to see what is wrong...

i priced them at 850 bucks. Thats a lot of cash for a dog. I love them and they are really cool dogs but not worth 850. Thats a new set of rims. HAHA
