Accident Hwy 75 southbound 7am'ish
Mods if this is not the correct place move it, and if it’s not a correct topic let me know and then delete it. I don’t want to go against any forum rules or policies.
Well if you where traveling down 75 this morning in Dallas Plano south bound and was wondering why it was backed up badly. It was an accident near Parker exit, involving my mom. She stopped her SUV but the F150 didn’t stop and plowed into her. Which because she has a class 3 hitch killed the F150 putting fluids every where. Heh I always told her if someone ran into the back of her SUV they would regret it.
She drove off, and is at the stop with repair work starting tomorrow (heh, don’t you guys wish
My dad works at the BMW shop so things progress quickly, perk of having a body man in the family I guess. So why am I saying any of this?
Honestly have not seen the damage and good chance I won’t see it (looks like it will be repaired ASAP, not the 1+ month normal). I was hoping someone passed by and saw it. It would have been the Blue SUV hit in the rear. I was just wondering how bad it was? I was told by my folks don’t worry but they have been in hospitals before without telling me before.
I know it has some frame damage (hitch absorbed a good chunk of the impact which well is tied to the frame, so I think a good assumption). She was hit hard enough that most of the electrical doesn’t work(locks, chairs, sunroof). The engine has a knock and the transmission is acting odd as I am told. So this makes it sound bad but it was drivable for a few miles
So I am a bit worried how bad it was, so if you did see it let me know please.
