whatever you do do not go to Mobile Sound on Cooper and Inwood.
I paid them AN OVERPRICED AMOUNT and the resultes were far less than pretty, the box was built incorrectly, the wiring of the subs was incorrect, and the only thing IMO that was good was the running of MY CABLES...
I bought the Subs, Amp, and amp kit on my own all they had to do was the install... completely unnacceptable...
I got better sound wiring it myself...

the amp should not be in there in the first place... since i sold my subs...
I'm still worried about it though... i don't know how well it will perform once i hook it up again... but i will say this... since i have had it... i played "The Dukes Of Hazzard" and jumped some railroad tracks... which the car handled fine... and the amp started smoking... just like it did that day...
and it still worked Great!... i don't know what it is about it... but with all the crap i've done to that amp it's still kicking... a great buy if you ask me...
now i just need to get a hold of a pair of SOLO X 12"s

Generally though... unless it's running wires, you should be able to do alot of the install yourself... unless that just isn't your thing...
cause then you can be absoutley sure that everything was done properly (assuming you know what proper is)
and all your components are tuned to your ears... the audio shop's guy might have different tastes than you do...
Good Luck!

I am considering going to Tritek in Garland. A couple of my friends said they were good people. I have no idea how to install a head unit myself so I need to go to a shop.

Go to Auto Sound and Security in Denton and ask for the Manager Donnie.
Tell him Mike (Z-CRA-Z) sent you and make sure you get Casey to do the work. Casey is their best installer.
I can guarantee you that Donnie will treat you right if you use my name as a referral.
