I just want to share a little story that probably wouldn't get posted here due to the humiliation by the party involved.

The Bun N Barrel is a popular hangout spot in San Antonio that got revived again by a friend on Thusday nights. It's only been 3 weeks and the lot has now gotten completely full with probably 70-80 cars.
I don't quite remember the name of the Z group. They even had an "official banner" and had about 20 Z's and G35's show up. It was a nice showing, until they left.
As they all left together reving up their motors, at least 5 of them left the place burning out and fishtailing around the corner.
The greatest part of the night was when one of them completely lost control, swerved violently across 3 lanes, almost got T-boned by an innocent car, slammed into the median while getting 4 feet of air, and came down on the other side of the highway.
As we all ran over to laugh......uh, I mean to see if he was alright, he hobbled his car over to the next lot to meet up with his friends. We tried to follow them on foot, but they eventually took off 2 seconds later. Again, burning out of the lot, as another member nearly loses control of his Z. You'd think they would have learned from their friend not 1 minute earlier?
Anyways, an hour later I leave the meet and head 1/2 mile down the street to see about 20 Z's waiting in a lot for a tow truck.

Way to represent the SA Z's. We have a real problem getting meets shut down that are illegal. We try to get legal meets going, and it's this kind of asshattery that gets them shut down.

 

Where's this Bun N Barrel located at? Anyone want to chime in which Z group this is? Definitely not the type of group that I want to hang out with . . .

This type of stuff happens everywhere. Unfortunately, they give the rest of the Zs a bad name!

 

The only group I know of that has a mixed group is 210 VQ or something like that.

I saw this group of cars at a car show in san antonio once. They really are a bunch of ricers.

 

The one reving had a license plate: Z UNIT

That should narrow it down.

If this is true, groups like these are not Z enthusiasts. They give us all a bad reputation. Freakin' ricers! I hope the local Z club(s) are taking note not to invite this group on future meets.

I agree. And thats why they are not part of Z-Sport. No one in Z-Sport does that kind of thing.

 

Someone thinks it might have been the kitted one with chrome rims. The pics haven't been posted yet.

There was also a white one with a black or dark skinned driver that dorifted with them. Even after he just witnessed his friend fly in the air doing the same thing.

 

Well, he deserves whatever damage he did to his Z. Unfortunately, the Z did not deserve such treatment from this irresponsible owner. Idiots . . .

 

To jump in here, I can guarantee you it was noone from Team 210 VQz. Im not going to say anyother team names cause i wasnt there, but im sure they know who they are. At this point you cant blame the cars just the Dumba** drivers.
