Hey, I got our dyno files from HPP the other day.
Unlike last time, I'm only going to post up the results on request. So, if you would like to see your dyno graph in picture format, just post your name up and I will attach your file in my post(s).
Your best run will be highlighted. Everything on the graph should be self-explanatory, but if you have questions, feel free to ask.

Post the 07 results.
I also care too, but didn't dyno either.
Maybe next time.I did get to finally meet a few of you out there in person, and it was my pleasure to see you guys. I enjoyed watching the Dyno's and even learning somethings.
The '07 Z was impressive with only an exhaust ( I believe? ).
Also the Daytona posted pretty well too.
I do have a question though & this is way I didn't have a Dyno done. I bought the Z used last year, its an '04.5 and had only 9350 miles. It is Touring, AT, SuperBlk, and had 17" rims on it at the time. It has only a Nismo intake so far. I sold the 17's to replace with the newer 18" '06 OEM rims. Stock tires sizes on them as well. Since I switched to the 18's then my speedo isn't quite calibrated correctly ???? I'm assuming this is the case. So wouldn't this give me a "sort-of-false" reading since my speedo isn't really reading the correct speed for the tires on the car ? I'm not too sure how this effects the HP & Torque values ? You guys seem to have much larger rims and tires on your Z's.....did any of you get your speedo re-calibrated ?
Here it what I switched from:
Frts--225/50/17
Rrs--235/50/17
Replaced with:
Frts--235/45/18
Rrs--245/45/18
If any of you guys have some info on this then please let me know.
Thanks, CF

Here's a link to a thread on our forums that explains load based dynos vs inertia based. It's a pretty good read and you'll get a better idea of how dynos work.

I've also attached two pictures. They compare your old front 17" diameter to the new 18" one and your old rear 17" diameter to your new 18" one.
You're welcome.

3hree5ive0ero,
Thanks for that link, it was very informative. So I guess I could really just have the car Dyno'd and then compare it to any of the following changes that I will make in the future. I just need to have a starting point.
BTW, I don't think that I got a chance to introduce myself to you out there. But I saw you.
Hopefully next time i will say hello. I really don't know any of you guys yet so hopefully if i get out to as many meets or rallies then I can become a familiar face too.
Thanks again for the info !

+1 Come out for a little cruise and get to know a few locals.
Updated the first post.
Note: I can also overlay different dyno charts with another, so if you want to compare your old best to your new best, I can do that. And if the other person doesn't mind, I can overlay theirs with yours for comparison.
