I'm driving home, and some F***ing punks pull up next to me, in an old camry or 626, and start accelerating hard and braking hard, and doing it over and over. I was thinking they just wanted to race, and I was just hoping they would take off and leave me alone. As I come to the split to go to George Bush Tollway or Hwy 78, I go to GBTW and they head to 78. At that point I hear a loud pop. The driver then turns his lights off and accelerates to 78. I then chase him down 78 and call the police. We attempt to locate them in a neighborhood. They cut down an alley, and I was trying to wait till I got some help there to go after them. At that point I lost them. I will find these kids!!!



After I calmed down a bit I looked at my car and noticed a small indentation in my passenger side window from what looks like a BB or pellet. I thought they just threw a firecracker at my car or something similer. I was trying not to trash my car during this so I didn't want to get to close to them. They were driving very recklessly to try to get away, and I didn't want to get caught in a bad accident. The only good thing is at least I'm ok.

I was hoping to find out. How much do those rock chip places charge to fill a hole like this. It doesn't look like it cracked the window very deep at all. So I'm hoping they can just repair it without having to put a new window in.

I live right here in sachse, what kind of ar and what color and what neighborhood did they go into, etc.

 

They went South down hwy 78. They came out of the neighborhood on the Northwest corner of Pleasant Valley and Firewheel Pkwy. I chased them into the neighborhood at the Northeast corner of 78 and Buckingham.

At the time I was just trying to keep eyes on them, due to their speed and reckless driving I didn't want to get to close. I wish I could have. I do work for the city they were in so I'm going to try and go research this.

 

A BB is better than a round through the door. I remember that was big in Detroit on the interstates.

 

The only good thing if it had been a round through the door is I know at that point I could shoot back.

 

Apparently you cannot have this repaired. Our side windows are tempered glass and therefore you have to have it all replaced. The nick is about 2-3mm diameter. Do yall think I would be ok to just leave it as is for a while and see if it gets worse and then replace. Or should this be replaced ASAP. Let me go run to my garage and snap a picture.

 

Yea go do that, snap some pix of the damage. Some kids need to go back to school, summer has been too long for them. What did the cops do anyways? I thought you said you called them.

 

if they are like Arlington police then by the time they got there the perps would be gone...

I've seen a chevy s-10 with two flat tires out run a fleet cop APD cops... At least 6 strong or weak how ever you look at it...

Damn sorry to hear man...that is some messed up chit. The plates would have been the first thing I tried to get, but then you were probably thinking much worse at the time. I probably would have rammed them off the road.
