I wasn't being a jackass, smartass. Isn't a law a freaking law? You knew damn well when you chose not to put your plate on that you would be breaking the law. If I did that, I sure as hell wouldn't b!tch about getting pulled over. Cops don't get paid only to enforce the laws that YOU want them to enforce. Everybody in here is right, cops don't have anything better to do than to enforce these lame a$$ laws, because THAT'S THEIR JOB.

I would hardly say their job as protecting and serving is writing tickets for no front plate. That's their other job....tax collector.

 

Whatever you want to call them. I agree is BS to get pulled over for that, but cops don't write the laws. You don't want them to waste your time and money, I suggest to put it on, if not don't be surprised if you get another ticket. Don't get too caught up on that "To protect and to serve" motto.
BTW, you did know that law enforcement agencies roam the car forums right??

 

I don't see why that really matters? It's not like I'm saying I did a hit and run or something and giving my license plate number. Don't get me wrong, I'm not *****ing about getting a ticket because I know it's illegal, I'm just saying it's just a BS that he pulled me over for only that and he either is jealous or has some kind of superiority complex. I don't mind paying the fine it's not that much and it's not a moving violation. I'm not putting on a front plate. It's not likely that I will get pulled over that much for it. Like I said, first ticket for it in a year, small price to pay for not having that stupid thing on the front of my car. If I get a ticket for it tomorrow sure I'll be upset but it's not going back on.
