Thanks Redline,

it'll probably be after the release of the OEM design for the simple fact of funding...

I AM determined to give you guys a slim model though, so best bet is to keep up with the newsletters... as soon as the OEM is released i will get back to the drawing board to get a "slim" design made.

Keep an ear out for us!

Thanks again

cool cool...

i understand... the cool thing about the handles on the Z is that they're MEANT to stand out, honestly, how many cars have handles like these?

These handles we are producing is something that you will interact with everyday... that you will notice... everyday...

umm... emblems... here's where we run into copyright issues...

i would love to produce these, i've even contacted Chiat-Day which handles Nissan's copyright affairs, to ask if we could get some sort of licensure to produce emblems.

Our goal as a company is to have packages available, where you could buy a package from us and have all your emblems, handles and any other pieces we will manufacture all complete in a MATCHING set. no more mismatching and searching for the right colors and wasting money in trial and error,

just select the package you want... simple...

so i will continue to try and get in contact with that chic that's manages that company and see where this goes...

but we are looking for a second product, and if i get a good list of people that want this then i will go ahead and do that too...

thanks for the input,

Anthony

if copyright becomes an issue, it would simply be fixed by us sending you oem emblems and you painting it for us, so you charge us for a service..... right?

i've pretty much gave up on a deadline... i would love to set one, but there's no telling how long these other manufacturers are going to take getting their quotes back to us, we have about 5 more quoting.

the good thing is... these guys know all the angles, they've been doing what they do for years... so they should be looking at all the different contours of handle and making sure they account for all the complexity of it and have a perfect product every time...

if they're anything less, then they won't be chosen.

so for now we wait, for all the quotes to come back.

So when you find the manufacturer... It should be easy to design the slim model right?

i'd say so... but designing the "slim" model is much more than just shrinking the current design. we need to check clearance of handle, ensure it's function, make sure the lines of the car are not interrupted, scope for ideas on improvement, discuss the thickness of the handle and if it could be reduced for better clearance, etc...

but we will get around to it...

but we shouldn't have as long a wait for manufacturers... hopefully by that time we should have a good customer and company relationship. Where we will get better priority.

I am interested but this is taking so long. Hopefully you will have your product available soon. I agree that the door handle is an important part of my Z. Its the first thing you come in contact with so it should definitely look good.

Sorry guys, but I give up on waiting for this. I want to get these if they ever do actually come out but I have my project that I'd like to finish. Just don't want to wait any longer for something that may or may not come. Sorry, I think I've been very patient. Good luck if it ever does make it to an end product.

sorry for the late reply guys, i've been a little busy... yes we have the quotes back... and i've got some more bad news... the quote price is more than we can afford at this moment... this cost is of technical nature and typical for the amount of work that is going into these... please remember... we aren't a large company with millions to spend... we are having to do this out of pocket...

we're not cancelling the project, just setting it aside for now, until we can raise the money for it... any one interested in investing, PM me and i will give you the details, other than that... it looks like more of a wait...

mean time we have another, more profitable project in the works, we think you guys will like... subscribe to the newsletter and you will get the details as they become available...

do to the nature of it, we don't want to unveil our new product until all the details are worked out... this will be easier to manufacture for us and with the way we planned it and a little luck... will make us the funds we need for the handles...

If your really in a hurry to fix/mod your handles then i'd say please do so... cause it's going to be a minute until we can get the money we need... unless something/someone comes along what we need...

believe me when i say that I, like alot of you have seen projects come and go here and some said and never finish. That is definitely not the case here... They will come... just going to take longer than we thought...
