Someone F@#$in ganked my F@#%in emblems!!!!
Parked in covered parking over at my girlfriends place (no security gates), haven't had any problems the last 2 months since I bought it. Go out to the car this morning for my usual weekend hoops with friends and the Z off the back is gone and the one on the driver's side.
worst part, f@#$in scratches in the paint from the screwdriver they used to pry it off! I think the one on the back will buff out (looks like the 4 coats of Zaino helped), but the one on the side definitely needs touch up, good thing I already have a paint pen from Courtesy.
Man, I love Austin, been here 10 years, but I'm so f@#$in tired of feeling like a victim. In the past 2 years I've gotten my previous vehicle broken into twice and now this?! This city is growing too fast for its own good.
Venting of frustration over for now, time to go to the dealer and pick up new emblems.....

Man that sucks!
I have been worried about that happening to my Z--just trying to park where I can see the car or under light poles etc. I guess I just have to keep my fingers crossed!
Good luck with getting them replaced/repaired.
Too bad they didn't take the Nissan emblems--I'd like to install the "Z" emblems that you can get on courtesyparts.com--Just too afraid to remove the nissan ones myself!

Thanks y'all for the sympathy.
Much calmer now (14 hours later), the paint pen worked well, waiting for the paint to dry completely before putting clearcoat on and then the emblems back on. Got raped by Town North on the price of these, but I'm too **** to wait and have them shipped from Courtesy.
Turns out there was a nick and a surface scratch, I don't think it was from it being stolen, where the top of the Z would be on the back emblem. I was considering going with nothing back there, but instead of messing with a rather large touch up, I'm just going to put the replacement on.
I too hope this isn't something that will be a common occurence, I already told my girlfriend that I'm not going to stay at her place until she gets a garage (again, yes I'm ****). When Jeff saw my S2K antenna at the meet, we all joked about how it was stolen, but they didn't take that, although I almost rather they had taken that instead, since it was 15 bucks compare to the 70 it cost for the emblems.
Anyway, if you see someone with a Z emblem on a chain around their neck, or on a car not a Z, make sure to kick 'em in the nuts for me.
