Default FairladyZ emblem - removing 350z embem - HELP

Definitely want to get rid of my 350z emblem... are there holes behind that one? (Not the center rear emblem, but the 350z emblem that is off to the side) Also, any thoughts on the fairladyz emblem--- if there are holes, will that emblem fit into the same holes. Thanks!!

(sorry if this has been discussed before, couldn't find info in my search i did)

no holes...just take fishing line to remove the emblem and clean up the surface of the adhesive.

I used dental floss, worked the same. Easy to remove. cleaned up the adhesive and it looks great.

I saw a picture on a previous post that showed two small holes under the center Nissan emblem.

I used 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner which I bought at an auto supply store.

I used the 3M adhesive remover because it is recommended for cars. There was no problem with paint being damaged. I just waxed the trunk lid, and there is no sign of where the 350Z emblem had been.

I like the 'shaved' look, and I would remove all of the outside emblems if they were just glued on. Unfortunately I think that the rest are held on with clips.

Default got off the adhesive

i used "goof off" - it worked really well. it all came off pretty much instantly. i waxed the area around the emblem afterwards, because i bet those adhesive removers strip off the wax also. its amazing how much better i like the look from the back without that emblem. (and its amazing how cheap the emblem feels once you get it off the car!)
