Awesome event...most fun I've ever had in my car. Thanks to G3 and everyone.

Great pictures, Will. I can't believe you took a picture of my car that close - it was disgustingly dirty (didn't see a point in cleaning when it was going to get dirty anyway). The one on the track is a good one, though.
This was an awesome event!

And no, the CS did not spin out. There's a dirt/gravel trail where the truck was and the wind (or cars) were picking up dust and crap everywhere.

No helmets!? It must have been just a drive around the track.

No, I'd say we were pushing it pretty hard. Some people couldn't keep up. I was driving the the best of my abilities......believe me. It was no parade lap for me. And I'm surprised at no helmets, yes.

I realize now that I have never driven my car until yesterday....lol.

Here are my pictures from yesterday.

For lead and follow laps, we were pushing it pretty hard. ~80-85mph on the straights. Last time I was at this track going clockwise I could only hit maybe ~95mph. I think there were some first timers that were feeling out the car the first couple of laps. Only thing I wish they would have done is review the concept of the entry, apex, and exit cones, but once everybody figured that out, I think that's when we started to push it a little. In hindside we probably should have rented some helmets.

Yes, moog was two cars in front of me and I could see him start to push it the last couple of laps.

I was VERY surprised at our pace...we should have had helmets on. I hit 95 many times on the front straight.

It was fun though. Now I know a few tweaks to make on my car to get ready for ECR...

Thanks again to G3 and Grubbs and everyone else involved to make this happen. VERY FUN!!!!

Yeah, there was no excuse for the drivers & passengers not to be wearing helmets. The organizers should have realized this and should have required them while driving around the track.

Yes that is MSR in Cresson, TX.

And if you guys were going that fast they should have had helmets on. Parade Laps shouldn't go over 45-50mph.

That is a fun track....
