Default North Dallas: Good Park for a BBQ

Hey, can you guys give me some recommendations on parks where I can have a little BBQ with a group of friends? Just some place where there's a grill we can use, a place to sit down with shade, and to just chill. I would prefer them to be in the north Dallas area, not too far from major highways (75 and 635).

Phiooz, thank you for your suggestions. I'll look into them. Do you know if I have to reserve the site or is it first come first serve?

Ha, you're so funny Kristi! ...cough stalker cough cough.. And make your own thread about dog parks!

you dont have to have reservation at niether of them. breckinridge doesnt have lights when it gets dark so its hard to see, but i like that place more than crowely. there are different sections to breckinridge be sure you choose the section by the lake and off of brand.
