Capital Z of Texas is hosting a BBQ and Show & Shine on Saturday August 30, 2003 at Northwest District Park (7000 Ardath St.). We have reserved picnic area C. Details are as follows:

BBQ will be served from 11:00am - 1:00 pm. Cost is $10/plate or $8/plate for current club members and will include your choice of water, soda, or tea. On the menu will be BBQ chicken, Elgin Sausage, spanish rice, beans, bread, corn on the cob (depending on availability), and all the fixins.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st - 3rd place for the show & shine. Any and all vehicles are eligible to enter the show & shine. Winners will be determined by people's choice voting to be turned in by 2:00pm. Awards will be announced at 2:30pm. Raffle prizes will be given out after the awards presentation.

If you would like to join us for this event, please rsvp to myself and I will add you to the reservation list. It is important that you rsvp so that we may prepare enough food for everyone.

I will try to be there. I have to work Saturday morning 12am-5am and I like my sleep But I think it will be a cool event so I will try to drag my lazy butt out of bed early.
