Hi guys. I have a nail stuck in my tire and need to get it patched. We all know the horror stories of shops scratching rims when they remount the tires. The tire guy I use to use no longer works for Discount Tire. Anyone know a good shop who won't scratch my rim? I'm willing to pay.
Thanks,
Val
Thanks,
Val

the one I used before left me a "gift" all the time... ( DT on 45N close to airtex, DT on richmond (around to fondren) )
the one on richmond at least use the torque wrench... before destroying the studs with the impact gun.

the one on 45N to airtex... they used the torque wrench after the impact gun and went close to strip a couple of studs and I found some dings on the wheels... (being the track wheels I don't give a damn, but they where brand new at that time)
the one close to fondren and richmond is better... they open a new one on westheimer and fondren (pretty much there) and "looks" decent (I have to stop there to quote my track tires)
with your wheels... I understand your pain. cheap wheel lmgt4 FTMFW

DT off 45 and Airtex is horrible. Stay far away from that place, they destroy all aftermarket wheels! There is a place just off 1960 and Stuebner that is known to be top knotch. I can't remember the name of the shop, but you can see it right on the corner.

I found the place. It's 1 block north of 1960 on Stubner Airline. It's called Duron Tires. They said, "No problem. We fix tires on all customs rims, without leaving a scratch."
I'm returning next Saturday. Thanks again guys!
