All these evacuations are ridiculous. Back when Rita hit, it was even worse. It's not the end of the world people, just some wind and rain. That's it.

I'm in far NW Houston so I didn't board up or anything. Some of my neighbors did though.


I just brought my **** indoors and bought some water/canned goods/ice and LOTS OF BEER.

 

o my god you just made my day.... you really did and if ya really want i can come down and just take the z off your hands... so you never have to worry about it any more

 

I wouldn't exactly go as far as to say that... It's just rain and wind until you have no power for days or weeks, a branch falls on your house, roadways are blocked, etc. You think traffic is bad during rush hour... try getting around with no traffic lights for 3 weeks.
