Default Prep for Ike...

How normal people prepare for a hurricane....

How a 350Z nut prepares for a hurricane...

It's just a couple feet, but you never know. I wish I had someplace safer to put my babies

Yeah I was wondering about that too.

All these evacuations are ridiculous. Back when Rita hit, it was even worse. It's not the end of the world people, just some wind and rain. That's it.

Half of I-30 is under construction. Jerry World is turning Arlington into hell.

Best of luck man, I do like the rain yet the high winds that shred trees and fling crap sucks.

Hahaha... nice.

Where are you at?

I'm in far NW Houston so I didn't board up or anything. Some of my neighbors did though.

I just brought my **** indoors and bought some water/canned goods/ice and LOTS OF BEER.

I wouldn't exactly go as far as to say that... It's just rain and wind until you have no power for days or weeks, a branch falls on your house, roadways are blocked, etc. You think traffic is bad during rush hour... try getting around with no traffic lights for 3 weeks.
