Dan= great guy... I had a great time over there and I wish him the best but as far as his tuning ability I would highly reccommend you taking it to someone who knows what they are doing... he is going to charge you 450 bucks for a street tune that will NOT be safe on your stock block.... get a real dyno tune even if you have to get it towed somewhere.... I know everyone has to learn some time but I am not willing to let someone do it with my car.... if you get almost any other tuning solution call this guy...

His name is Chris Macellaro, he works for EFI university so he travels around and teaches shops basically how to tune.... I got my Utec tuned for under 500 bucks and I was on the dyno for 3 hours.... he has worked with and knows sharif at forged..... he is busy but well worth the wait... and would be alot safer....
Wow... amazing to have people like this attack you and not tell the whole truth. The fact is that was my first attempt at tuning the old Uni-Chip which uses DOS based software. I pulled out the manual to see if there was something I could do to get it run on WinXP. LOL I purchased a win98 computer so I can tune the old chip just for you. Oh well I tried *** it...

Also your car was jacked, you were missing parts on the main bracket that holds the SC, you tightened it wrong and it was bent! Your charge pipe was so jacked the belt almost rubbed hole in it, the fitting were all jacked because the charge pipe was upside down. I worked on your car for 4 hours one night, tried to get my software to work and spent at least 6-8 hours and all I charged you for was the work I did on your car... period! I guess you forget about calling me stressed out wanting me to look the car over. I helped you and you were very happy when you left. I let you walk out without paying the first night, gave you tool to adjust your plenum. I guess all that kindness doesn't mean jack sht!

There is nothing wrong with street tuning as long as you can get to redline... A dyno is tool, unfortunetly I don't have $45,000 to get one just yet. However I have access to a dyno so that is no problem.

For you fuking information I have been trained by Steve at FIS one of the best unichip tuners in the country.

interesting reply.

I'm not sure if a tuner coming on an dropping f-bombs to a former customer is the best way to defend one's self.

I hope you go back to edit this post and rethink the best methods as to interact with these online forum communities.

Professionalism in service goes and extra long way, especially on such a public forum.

Be professional about it and don't let one customer to mess it up for you.

lets not have this turning into a free for all please, that wouldn't be good for any party involved.

Dan does have the best costumer service of any person that i have dealt with since i got my car. and i am trusting him 100% with my car (which I will be racing at every race this year) sometimes things get the best of us, we can all admit that.

Wish me luck next season!

Man, I just wasted time reading this old thread. I didn't realize it was old until Jake chimed in today. I guess I should look at the posting date when I start reading threads. It was just perfect timing. I knew Draco just bought a new ride and was starting work on it. I got .

it has the VG30 in it, I really want the RB26, it will be expensive as ****, but since this is going to be a long *** project anyways I think I am going to go with the RB, something about having a Legendary mmotor just makes me erect ya know?

I could also buy an old junked up 67 mustang.... fix it up and drop the RB in it...
