Dallas Cowboys MNF
Man it must be hard to be a Cowboys hater these days. JP you're trying so hard I'll give you an E for effort!
I have always been a Brett Farve fan, but couldn't care less about the Packers.
You talk about Jerry crushing legends... what did the Packers organization try to do to Farve? Forced him to retire, then screwed him when he tried to come back. It would be awesome to see the Jets cream the Packers in the Super Bowl. Unlikely I know, but would be a nice slap in the face.

No one forced Favre to a retirement. He made the decision on his own and tried to come back pointing the finger. The Packers HAD to move on...sheet, Rodgers is going to retire before he'll ever start. It's like the days when Montana went to Kansas City.
No one screwed anyone. Favre was being unreasonable(after having retired on his OWN decision, then trying to force Rodgers out of the promised start). He was offered a chance to come back as a coach, helper, whatever, but he immediately turned them down.
I love Favre to death, but he handled the situation immaturely and very damagingly.
One of the things that fuels my hatred toward the Cowboys is the bandwagoning effect. Dallas IS the absolutely worst city for that.

I don't know about a "bandwagon" I'm a season ticket holder, and I live in Houston. The one thing that makes me hate the packers so much is always making excuses. In the 90's they always cried that we got all the calls, and always playing us in Dallas, this guy is hurt, that guy is pushing off, the refs are cheating...always something. Last year we creamed them in Dallas, same result so, and so was hurt, we were missing some defensive players, Favre had a bad game, Rodgers was inexperienced, bad calls, we always play in Dallas...blah, blah, blah! This year it's at Lambeau, we cream them again, more excuses about hurt players, and so much BS. We have injured players too, TO did nothing, Romo played bad, the O line was suspect, and we still beat them soundly at Lambeau...come on now. I recall the legend, reggie White making a big deal because Switzer let the kicker get a field goal to break some record, he accused us of running up the score! A freaking field goal in a 21 to 6 victory! How about in the 95 Championship game where he just about assaulted a camera man on the sidelines because they were losing again? It is always that way with the packers, anytime we beat them, let the excuses start rolling off the tongue. They lost again, plain and simple.
We are a better team than they are right now. There's no need to make excuses for losing to the DALLAS COWBOYS...again.

I'm the last person in the world for excuses. I actually pointed out earlier that the Pack play calling was absolutely crap. I just don't understand how teams can not adjust.
There are these so-called excuserers on both sides Venomsz, for every debacle and confrontation in the world. The Pack lost fair and square. Packer fans are packer fans for life, please don't associate them as only whiners. The Packers are a community, fan-ran team that people own stock in, they are there for the fans only. Hardcore fans, once again, lay on both sides of every team. I was only demonstrating, Cowboy fans, from my experience and the opinions of my friends, tend to be more situational and very erratic considering their sponsorship of their team.
Good game, wished outcome would've been different, but not much I can do except watch the Bills surprise everyone. 'Till next time!

Oh, I know that packer fans are fantatstic and down to earth, realistic even.
My comment was not toward the fans,or yourself...it was really directed at the organization, and it's players. If you recall the 90's, it was embarassing how much the players and coaches whined about how unfair it was playing the Cowboys. It just feels like it's starting to happen all over again. All I hear from the players, and coaches is excuses, and questionable calls. I'm hearing the analysts do the same, and it's kind of sad. I hope you did not feel I was throwing you, or the great fans in the mix. Last years game at Texas Stadium was electrifying, and the packer fans were really a class act.
They were well represented, and loud, but not disrepectful.
We had a great time with them, and a mutual respect after a good game.
We all walked out together without incident, and they made no excuses,
but congratulated us on a good win.
