Ok so I searched and only found one guy advertising his own shop, but the post was a couple years old and his website is no longer.

So I want to get the windows RE-tinted. I bought the car with light tint already on and want to go darker. Need a shop that can strip with damaging anything and do a good tint job.

DFW area. I'm in Euless so I'm pretty much smack dab in the middle of the metroplex. Any suggestion is welcomed.

They will charge you twice as much for stipping the tint off of your windows. So its best to strip the tint off yourself and then get them re-tinted.

I know its a pain in the A$$.....but well worth the extra effort.

 

Well I could strip the side windows myself, but how do you strip the back without damaging the rear defrost?

I'm in Little Elm, and i do tint out of my house on the side. Used to have a shop in Mckinney called Premier Auto Tint.

I can strip (without damaging anything) and retint, with whatever you want on it for cash! You still get the lifetime warranty with Llumar via warranty card, just no receipt since i only take cash.

tritek in garland like previously stated...im not going to tell u what i paid but ask for david, tell him you were referred to him through this site, it will be significantly less then $200 and i have 10% on the front two on the side and limo on top of 35% in the back..

 

+1 for Tritek, David did the tint on my 350Z. He does excellent work, give him a call he will take care of you.

It would not be less than 200 for a strip and retint. It would be less than 200 for just a tint job, if you already had clear windows.

he also uses Madico film, which is not a favorite of mine. In my opinion cheaper quality film, different kind of look, etc.

 

by the way, they dont make a 10% film. No film manufacturer does.

 

Doesn't it usually go from 15% down to like 7%, 5%, 3%. Something like that. I dunno.

Jeremy, do you have all levels available? I'll more than likely set something up with you in a couple of weeks. I work two weeks on, one week off so my schedule is crazy for the next couple of weeks. Would you want to do it during the week or on a weekend?
