Man, went Courtesy today to get my oil change (and car wash) so I went to look ar the 2012 370.... OMG, F' ing georgous ! Im so glad they got rid of the GTR looking front end. SWEET... I especially like the chrimson red... Holly smoke I would love to have one. They have the 2012 Nismo in the show room, its silver, not to fond of the wing and rear bumper though. If only I could win the lotto ! The thing that is a little wierd.... the Nismo is the same price as the touring ?????

 

Oh and Hi everybody..... I havent been posting much. Left hand is still a paper weight and im not fond og the hunt and peck method.

Hey Jake, I know how busy you have been, but for future reference.... do you know how or have the ability to remove rear coils on a 240sx and put back the stock spring/struts ? My son really needs to get this done and flipping burgers for min. wage lessens his options on getting it done at a shop or dealer. If by chance you can do it (no rush) can you pm me $ ?

You're son should be able to do it easily. Zilvia has write ups all you need is a jack, jack stands and basic hand tools.

I've met that Z's owner once. I forgot his name, but I think Jake knows him, too. I believe Jake posted that he sold his wheels to that Z's owner, and that's the same set.

Nah... Not gonna risk that whole spring compression to get the stock back in....liable to kill someone if it goes BOING ! I think we could manage gettin the coils out but that is where we would be stuck.

Also, I just found out I placed 1st in BSP at the last autox I went to. There was only 3 of us, though, the other 2 being M3s. I ♥ my new tires (265/285 R-S3s)! I should be competitive enough for the upcoming autox this Sunday with 3 370Z guys, all of whom are more experienced than I am and some have tires/mods, I believe.

 

LMAO - those were my old ones - Yep thats Corbins 370...Fkr even got them white too.. I sold them for 900 so it looks like he is trying to make some cash on them.. Meh....I gots my rotas now. and for WAY cheaper than 1200..

Thanks for the kind words. You know I will try my best to let them know how we do things in TX! I'm just hoping that my tires are enough to overcome the driver skill, power, and gearing advantages they have on me.

I currently have 17 tires (snow, daily, autox, drag) and 10 wheels (2 drag, 4 daily/track, 4 snow). I was looking for track set up for a while, but I know I can't afford another set nor do I have space. Until I can get a new set of wheels for the track, I will just daily my R-S3s. Plus, we only have about 4-5 months of "summer tires friendly" weather so I'll be driving on my stretched snow tires half the year anyway.
