No, I'm not apart of any local forum for up here. I had talked to a few guys when I would drive my Z up to the cities but everyone didn't seem like they were too friendly.

I can't tell you how much I miss going to events down there. It was fun hanging with Jason and Jacob on the auto-x when they had r-comps. lol

lol.. Fargo, I am beginning to hate that movie. Everyone I talk to thinks that everyone up here is just like that.

It's about the same as all the yankee's up here thinking that I own horses and drive a jacked up truck just because I am from Texas.

Little man is doing good, he is eating alot but now I can't get him to sit still for 2 minutes. He is always getting into something or turning the dishwasher on.

I have lived the last year without a dishwasher and just finally got one, now I don't like the job that it does so I still do it by hand. I'm sure a new expensive unit will work really well.

Happy New Year Z's and G's

For everyone wanting a good time and some fun racing, get ready for the 2012 VQ Championship Series.

Gavin ran the series last year but is heading off to China So I am taking over the planing( with A LOT of help from Chris Fithamoto). You can look forward to a nice mix of Auto X, Time Trials, and maybe even a HPDE track event. I'll be starting up a new thread so stay tuned.

For those new to DFW or racing I encourage you to come on out. This wil be a very relaxed series. Its all about the people and having a good time with the Z( or whatever you want to drive). All these events are timed runs against a clock, no wheel to wheel racing. Price is around 30-40 bucks per event and will take up a Saturday or Sunday.

Most likely we will warm things up on Jan 29(sun) with the North Texas Autocross Series. This event will be at Pennington Field (HEB) so should be easy for everyone to get to.

Stay tuned for up dates in the coming days and looking forward to 2012.

Chris - don't get a Samsung dishwasher. We have one and it isn't great. The tech was here today for our oven and even he said "Ya our Samsung dishwashers aren't the strongest". lol

100k is no problem on these cars. Mine is at 132k and I raced a good bit this season with no issues at all

Thanks you guys...I looked at many, many dishwashers, and found out that they all work the same....but the the noise level is the main selling point.

So I bought a Bosch...I have heard very good things about them. This one has a db rating of 48....which is awesome ! But I spent $ 800 + for it.
