well, apparently the owner wasn't as settled upon hiring me as I had thought, and agreed to a probationary period "in which he could evaluate my performance as his employee" and I guess I didn't meet his standards, but the guys that can't even use the shop's POS system get to stay. I can honestly say it wasn't due to any negligence on my part and I really feel like I'd make a good employee.

awesome, ya i have a Black tower that i plan on transferring all the internals too just so it all stays smooth........about the only thing i plan on doing is locating a usb wire hub on to the monitor side so that i have easy access for jump drives - for "how to" pics...

Those SPL arms look ridiculously beefy. Like they are made for military vehicles or something.
Edit: Jason is your mobo inside that cardbox box?

like i mentioned "its in the works" -- Jake is hooking it up with a working tower, if the one he has doesnt work, i have one in San Antonio I know works.....but for the most part im gonna get the parts to a working PC and install them in a Black tower i have. Im probably gonna make a shelf off the side of that cabinet to keep the tower off the ground and out of the way.
Then a usb hub mounted at the base of the cabinet....
ALSO, that monitor was originally beige....I painted it yesterday! came out decent i think...
I drilled a hole in the countertop, and plan on putting a desk grommet to clean up the look.
I plan on loading the harddrive full of MP3's and rock'n out during tech day.
