You raced the car in Vegas ?

I thought it never got out of the Garage when you blew up up the engine.....when did it ever run ?

And I'm just curious because I didn't know it was ever ready to race ?

 

I raced the purple car in vegas just 3 weeks after mine was stolen.


Engine blew, 3 months go by and I have rebuilt the motor and heads, moth or so later I got it installed, we got busy so I wasn't able to devote much time to it, I think we were working on the 2 two builds we had come in during that time frame... and it started on the first try. Have a engine break in tune on it and I am needing to cover 2k miles before getting in onto a race tune and on the dyno. I drove it from the shop to my then gf's apt in Denton. That is the last time I saw it in 1 piece.

 

I'm not sure I'm understanding the chronology of all this....


I'm not going to lie nor am I going to claim I know something that I don't, but the first thought that popped into my head when I saw Mike2k3BR's car was "that looks extremely familiar."

SBC's are extremely rare among the DFW crowd (I've been around for a long time and have met majority of the members up until recently) to begin with and it's odd this guy happens to have a similar, if not the same, wing. The wheels and StopTechs are very familiar, too, although these are a bit more common.

 

October 18th = My car stolen
October 20th my "Car" recovered on side of road on spares completely gutted and stripped, they took everything.
November 8thish I raced in Vegas in my investors 03 brickyard 350Z.

With all do respect my life's work up to this point was in that car. MMM Just wow.... Argh.

 

Well i installed the rotoras the way they were configured after all the advice i got. thanks guys. Put them on and my 18s barely clear the caliper. Much bigger than the willwoods.

 

guess you wouldnt pimp...someone just went out bought EXACTLY your parts and slapped them on their ride..

Does anyone in here have a set of Aftermarket front A arms I could borrow for a few days?

The part number on Courtesy's website says they are the same Z33 AND Z34, but all of the vendors have different arms for each model. SPC doesnt make anything for my car, and the only real options are SPL which any bump makes it come out of adjustment and Kinetix which I really dont want to do.

Can anyone hook a brother up to just let me see if they will fit? Even if you just have one... Let me know!

Budu of mine gotta set of upper arms that he haven't installed yet, but it's some off brand company. I can ask him if you want
