i noticed this while putting sways on another members z car - regarding the drive shaft - i had to take a double take - and triple - that ds for the supra wasn't a cheap mod -

My supra had the GE not the GTE but i turbo'd it so i called it the GE-T - i didn't get corrected on that, but i get corrected on everything else

Jake, Pat, Chris, or anyone else who's spent time with the diff, does it look like my rear diff mount is failing?

Saw this today while getting my exhaust repaired. It's not diff fluid because it doesn't smell horrible haha.

Both pics are from the rear, second one is looking up at the subframe, I think it's called.

The diff cant actually move as the two ear bushings keep the front up and from moving forward. Disregard I thought I read falling instead of failing.

I think your Diff bushing may be leaking....If your diff was leaking it would be a lot wetter looking...plus it would smell like the diff fluid.

Also there is no gasket but sealant like gasket maker.
The only thing that leaks is the bushing when it blows or the drain plug.

Or you can get the Urethane ones like Scott got....I like them myself...but already had the solid ones.

Either way it is a super hard Biotch to get out of there...but Jake has Magic ways to get them out faster.

Also you should order a Nismo Finned Diff cover while your diff is out.

+1 on diff cover - its cheap too..

Everyones right as far as the bushing being blown.

Take note - its ok to run like this.. Hell Ive known peops to roll this way for YRS.. so really up to you if you "feel" it affects drive ability (ie:wheel hop), then by all means...swap it out..

Allstar I think you mentioned something about someone having killer rotor deals, please let me know. Rotors for this car can go for a premium it seems
