My buddy may come over tomorrow and we'll bleed them old school style.

I installed james brembos
Its just getting that last bit of air out of system the abs holds in. I use a pneumatic brake bleeder. You might just need to rebleed them if you think you had issues

They don't need bedding in, but that's good advice if they were brand new. The rotors have a few thousand miles on them and the pads about 250 miles. That's not the issue. It's air in the lines because the adapter on the power bleeder was leaking and didn't properly push the air through the system.

brake bleeding party like fith said - good god that is a tedious lame job by yourself -
don't know if you guys are using the speed bleeders or not, but they work ok, just be careful i believe they can strip out pretty easily ish -
i got a pneumatic thing from autozone it was like 40 bucks or something - i think it worked some - used it when i put on the wilwoods for the scooby doo -

Jon (beerviper) did the abs trick with his when he got some air in the lines and he said it worked. Sorry I disappeared lol I've been in new orleans all week and just got back like 10 minutes ago. So tired of driving.
Seems like everyone is confused on my brake issue.
Was it a tedious job? Ya I guess, but the full swap is really a pretty easy job with the right tools.
The problem was with the Motive Power Bleeder. That thing works wonders if it's not broken, but the adapter that goes onto the brake fluid reservoir is chipped/broken so it wouldn't seal properly and push all the air through. It constantly leaked under pressure so it just couldn't do the job properly. I just need to do an old fashioned bleed job on it or wait until the replacement adapter comes in for the power bleeder.

i can't comment on R1's method - i've never needed to do that before - or if i did that - i didn't even know it lol
which is possible thinking back to a few different vehicles - that magically got good pedal feel -

I just got back from the Time Trials at Mineral Wells and it was sooo much fun....there were a bunch of great cars & drivers out there.
I had a best lap time of 79.3?? And Michael Hollingsworth was on my *** for the last 2 laps of the day....made me loose my composure...and I ended up almost spinning. Wish I had video of it. He was toying with me...He is a great driver.
This is a clean set of laps that were my fastest times. You guys need to get out and do more events with your car....after-all that is what it was designed to do.

How were the shocks? Did you still run them at 7?
I found a little more info on the Konis as far as settings go. Sweeps 1-4 have very little change in damping from the softest setting. 4-8 are very linear when increasing stiffness. 8-10 increase stiffness at an increasing rate, not linear like setting 4-8. And if you do get to 10, back off the **** just a touch from the full stop. I guess the valve does weird things when it is against the stop.
Just some FYI.
Nice what did you do
I got a decent one from orielly I'll be reusing when I pick up my SS brake lines and install my new brakes
yup I agree, with a good bleeder I thinking bleeding is pretty painless
I was laughing after reading this, we may have had the same expression on our faces but I'll be will doing this if I end up having issues
