Jeremiah quoted me $627 for the Konis and I believe the Tokicos are about that price as well. He's got the lowest price on the Konis by far. It just comes down to which one you prefer.

from what everyone is sayin koni are the way to go, and if he is selling from them at the same price as the tokico it is not a hard choice.

he is the one in bridgeport, right?

Nice pic mikes10....I like them Brakes & Works rims.....I just love to go to these events and beat the upper competition ( Vettes, Porsches, GTO's, Evo's, etc...) I guess really I just like to see the Z on the upper end of the best times list. Whether it is me, Scott, or someone else.....I just want the Z to be a Winner !

Travis.....I could say I would love to help you install them....but I then I would be responsible for anything going wrong....And I'm not gonna put myself in that position.

But new plugs will be so much nicer....at least they were for me...but since you just got a tune and all that....I'm not too sure if you'll get the same results from when I did it.

All I know is that a fresh set of plugs made the car feel sooo much more responsive thru the throttle....because over the next couple days I felt a huge difference with acceleration. I hope you get the same out of it.

When you gonna be ready for some AutoX action ?

yeah i dont blame ya, i took off the engine cover and it looks like they are under the plenum, just by looking it looks like i would have to take it off and the throttle bodies also.... i hope i see better response since i just spent over 100 for the damn plugs... freakin HR!!

as far as auto-x, soon. i am going to try to get shocks in a couple weeks, but i guarantee that my tires are going to suck *** when doing it they have some good camber wear from before i had the kits on, but dont know til i try huh

Travis, the Plenum doesn't have to come off ( or for your '08 yr I don't think so)...maybe just the Strut bar and partial removal of the Air intakes...since you have two....but othger than that it's just doing one at a time to make sure you don't jack up anything.....I would check with Jake to be sure.
And don't worry about the Tires until you do an event....then you'll see what you can do or not.

I'll be running the Eibach Pro-Kit. That's what I've had on with stock shocks for years and I'm curious to see how that combination works, but I'm also very curious about some other springs. The adjustability of the Koni yellows gives you plenty of spring options. I know that Scott and Chris both have alot of success and they're on different springs. Chris is on the Tein springs, but I never can remember if it's the S.Techs or the H.Techs.

I was in 350z heaven yesterday. My Titans driver seat got swapped out with a 2010 seat but while I was there I couldnt help but notice how many Z's were out in the junk yard. Differentials all over the place, Brembos left and right, Engines, etc..

Jason and I used to go there when we would just walk around...lol

I like the spring rate and balance of the car with my square tire setup.(255/40/17) They are to low for me with the 17 inch rims and 255/40 tires. I would hit bottom in many places so that combo is not good for everyday. With my street setup 18 245 /45 the grd clearance is good but you will have to watch the fenders if you have a big offset.

You saw my car on the 17 inch rims and I have raised the spring mounts about 3/8 inch so the car is a little higher than it could be with the stock spring mount location.( The front koni shock has two positions for the spring mount and I made a shim for the rear springs to raise the rear up 3/8 inch.

The pro kits are just a little less spring rate (380F /420R) and not as much drop so they would be a nice option if you dont want to go real low or you want to run big tires with less clearance issues.
