Third in our class, I'll take that. Went to Dallas karting complex today with Jake. I took second place and that was the first time I've ever done this. Jake took like seventh with a blown rear tire lol

nice job pat - you beat an sti though ....... i'm kinda torn on that fact - the s2000 was smokin' quick - and stu you beat all the Cayennes but 1 and oddly enough that was the oldest one --

where are the rules for identification of class - i din't see it in the scca solo rules?

DKC looks pretty fun - goal would be to unlock the rotax just to unlock the karts i couldn't afford

Dammit, didn't see that Cayenne a couple seconds ahead. Makes sense though because I was watching it run and didn't think I could beat it. I'm wondering if they got the drivers mixed up for the times but maybe the wife did outdrive her husband.

Their AWD was helping a lot coming out of corners whereas I couldn't get on it or I'd start to spin.

Man I drove by there on my way out of town (and back in) over the weekend and kept thinking we need to do a Z meet out there and do some fun racing.

The PCA club does there own classing. Your car fits in a base class and then its adjusted up if you have rcomps, springs,sways,shocks... Its pretty general in scope and not as detailed or complex as NASA or SCCA.

I thought PCA was just engine size with a multiplier for FI, and street or race tires? Then all the Porsches have their own classes. That's why Pat and I were in the same class, along with an Evo, an STI, and an S2K.

It's about the simplest, and dumbest, classification system.

It is very basic and not very accurate as far as none Porsches go. The other side is you get ultra picky and only have two or three cars in a class like SCCA. Its about as good as your going to get for a come out and have fun event.

I lost numbers upgrading my phone today. I've recovered most, but couldn't find alot of the new numbers from Z guys.

Travis, Scott, Jeremiah, Josiah... can you guys text me so I can save your numbers again please?

No posts for quite a while. Looks like everybody was busy with real life on the 4th.

Got it, thanks man.

I think we should definitely do a meet involving the Dallas Karting Complex. That would be awesome.

Hey Mike,

Where was it that you were able to use a lift to work on your car? I wanna use a lift to install my new endlinks. Was it just a friend hookup or something?

so for when we want to go skeet shooting, here is something to ponder. yesterday i went and shot the woods course, it is a 12 trap course with 2 skeet throwers per trap.. you will go through about 100 shells. it is a flat fee of $45 per person, and then $10 per person for golf cart. i would buy shells at academy or wal-mart (nothing but 7, 7.5, or 8 shot allowed) so everyone would need 4 boxes. so we would be looking at about $75 per person for about 2 hours.....nobody said it is cheap! i know Chris is out of town this week and i am gone the following weekend... so i am thinking about 2 weeks out..
