Thanks! I wanted something more aggressive at first, but I am glad I went with the Nismo v2.

Jeremiah - great to see real progress man. Glad you're gonna have her back real soon. I wanna check it out in person so I can see the color match. I'm gonna have all my stuff painted sooner or later and need to know where to go.

Looks like they either painted everything or blended so not really a color match

I took mine to Tommy at Complete Autobody in Arlington. I am with you there man, I was glad to get the pics when he sent them to me. Give him a call, he does a lot of work on cars like ours and higher end stuff as well.

Correct, he color blended a majority of the parts, so that it all worked together.

Blending's cheaper and easier. Can one truly color match, though?

I would assume there would be blending because of the near impossibility of matching the PPW (or most colors for that matter). As long as it looks like the whole car is the same color then it's all good. I can't stand mismatched panels after a paint job.

Tommy has painted so many of the cars of people i know - you'd think he would have moved his shop to somewhere nice by now!

My roommate has a very hard color on his his 240sx to match, and Tommy did an amazing job doing so. I think if you(the painter) really care about your work, it can be done. With the amount of pearls and different variations, it does make it hard though.

I know right. I see all these nice imports and exotics, you'd would think he'd have a better location. Maybe the place he is at, he is content and doesn't think he needs anything more. I was surprised when I first took my trip over there.

Picking up my iForged today after having them stripped, faces brushed and recleared, and the lips polished. Debating if I keep them now or change it up.

I'm tempted to go back to stock and wait for the next Z and C7's to get revealled...
