you could almost cut it on 3 sides then flap it.... cut on the factory 90 degree bend with a die grinder, then 2 other places.... fold back

if you are close to Plano - tomorrow is supposed to be ridiculous cold outside so I'll be in my garage all day drinking beer and punching mosquito's' -

i have some very basic tools but i bet we could make that fit - i have a cutting wheel for my drill that might work too - i have an air compressor too but its kinda weak-sauce so i haven't bought a pneumatic cutter yet

Anybody feel like coming over to my place and putting my track tires on the car ? I will have beers in the fridge for you all cold.

I'm getting tired of swapping tires back and forth....I even bought me a good cordless impact so I don't have to use the breaker bar to get them off.

I'm just not feeling like swapping out tires in this heat....hopefully tomorrow will be awesome and a bunch cooler.

I can't wait for summer to be over....I love when it's cool and my car pulls hard with nice cool dry air.

I'm glad my retune will be done in cooler weather.

Mike, that sounds like it could work. I have nothing to do tomorrow. Do you want to PM your number and I'll shoot you a text tomorrow about it?

Really debating doing the sparkplug install on the G35 sedan tomorrow after work. Already have the laser platinums right here in front of me along with anti seize paste and all the tools. Really just waiting on the weather to start cooling down to a realistic level and make it bearable to work outside.

^ At least now you have the v-bands. I dread the day when I'd have to take my APS off the car.

V-bands kinda suck though because they don't fit over unless you take the nut off and getting it back on can be hard.

Well the one time it was bad was when I had to attach two pipes before mounting so I was balancing it with my stomach while trying to pinch the v-band with one hand and thread the bolt with the other.

hope it isnt as hard on your car as it was on mine, it was a huge pain for me.

** i got my d-spec's put on, HUGE difference. they came set on full stiff setting, as a starting point i backed them off 3 turns and so far i like it. now i need to get an alignment .

does anyone know about the adjustments on the spc front camber arms? when i put mine on i didnt think i would be doing any agressive driving so they are all the way out which put me at like -.5 and since then i lowered another half inch but sure it didnt change much.... any ideas on what i need to do to get me around -1.5 ish?

Stu - I have a good cut-off tool that would work perfect for that. Let me know if you need my help.

Weird I don't have anything. I even opened my inbox to check. Maybe it will go through eventually.

Thanks Eric, hopefully I'll get it taken care of tomorrow. I leave Monday so I'm kinda rushing to finish.
