Chris - are the +1 and the +3, the number of cones hit per run after your times? - also very cool and thanks for posting the vids - all of you guys have really close times indeed -

Congrats on getting a new car Pat - the Genesis looks like a decent platform - fwiw i saw one at cars and coffee with an LS1 in it.... i think you should be ok to swap under warranty no worries -

Lack of practicality is why he traded, so I'm sure headers is part of (or has the sheer volume become major?) the reason.

Yes, those are the number of cones, and each add a second to your total time (some clubs add 2 sec per cone).

I test drove the 3.7 genesis when I was looking around..from the outside they don't look that bad. But when I got inside I really did not like the interior.

Potato what was wrong with your G? Was it not reliable to you?

It wasn't running boost properly, idle started getting bad, ac didn't work, Window motor didn't work, it was just a few little things... Honestly after 4 years and lots of fun and headaches I was ready for a car that didn't stress me out. Honestly one of the biggest things was not having people who can help you fix stuff you guys in dfw are spoiled with people like Jake its not the same here. Plus it's a horrible car to have in the winter

^Same bolt pattern. I wonder what offsets guys run on those things. Has the Genesis coupe crowd been hit by the hellaflush bug?

My 17s won't but my 18s should clear the brakes but the most aggressive offsets I've seen so far have only been +18. Mine are +15 so it shouldn't make much a difference but he was on stretched tires and lowered with like -3.x camber. So to answer your question, yes, hellaflush is still an ever present threat lol

Anybody know much about this Plenum intake ?

http://www.kinetixracing.com/kinetix..._manifold.aspx

I was thinking about getting a Polished Plenum anyways....but I found this.

Anybody know anything about it first hand or have a friend with one ?

Or....what about the Cosworth dual plenum ?

Travis - the 29th is the time trial day and the there are two different autoX events on the 30th. I'm planning on making both days and I assume Chris might be in.

Chris - I think you're going to need a tune after installing one of those plenums. Not real educated on those, but why not just have yours polished?
