i lowered that bracket just enough to throw sparks on flat ground - lol -- jk
that bracket isn't holding your car together so it won't hurt to move it a bit and tension is still kept as well - and i think it only needed like 1/8" or less of clearance - literally enough to keep it off the pipe is all that was necessary -

Newb question here, any one recommend an installation place to get a dbl din or single din installled in the Dfw area? Also any recommendations for a good/cost efficient unit? Thanks for your help in advance! PM me if it's easier!

Well...try to work around it....but if you can't then you can't ! I can understand these things.
we need to try and get everybody on board and together for the autoX season and be a lot more serious.
This can be a great group and we can become a strong contender in these events.

install it yourself, it will only take about 20-30 min if you have all the parts, one thing you will need is the ears from the factory radio, harness adapter, and a dash kit (i may have a kit laying around). if you are not comfortable doing it yourself i used to work at mobile sound systems in arlington, they do really nice installs, and i know the manager of car toys in lewiswille...... or if you just dont want to spend the money you may be able to pursued me into doing it.
how are you liking the coupe pat? just curious, have you laid out a plan for order of mods yet???
