West Mesquite Memorial Stadium is just big enough for 30-40 sec course:

Michael already registered me for the 13th and I plan on going to the NTAX event on the 30th.

i lowered that bracket just enough to throw sparks on flat ground - lol -- jk

that bracket isn't holding your car together so it won't hurt to move it a bit and tension is still kept as well - and i think it only needed like 1/8" or less of clearance - literally enough to keep it off the pipe is all that was necessary -

Newb question here, any one recommend an installation place to get a dbl din or single din installled in the Dfw area? Also any recommendations for a good/cost efficient unit? Thanks for your help in advance! PM me if it's easier!

Bestbuy had some JVC's that were like 150 ish bucks but no bluetooth - i was thinkin about this option for both my wifes dubwrex and my Z.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/JVC+-+50...&skuId=4707058

I don't think i'll buy them from best buy - but there are a few that JVC makes that are ok - that arent 500-900 dollars -

welcome newb

Eric, I can't imagine a smaller venue than TMS....so I would like to go for the PCA event on the 30th.

I'll do either event. I just wanna go where everyone else is going. Looks like Chris P. is going to Mesquite on the 30th instead of MW.

I may not be able to make the 13th because of a busy birthday weekend.

Eric,
Well...try to work around it....but if you can't then you can't ! I can understand these things.

we need to try and get everybody on board and together for the autoX season and be a lot more serious.

This can be a great group and we can become a strong contender in these events.

I prefer Mesquite because it's an hour away vs 2 hours for MW, but I'll go to MW if people are going there.

i have a pioneer head unit, and it really depends on what you want in the radio... built in NAV, backup camera etc. i dont remember the model number of mine of the top of my head but it is a double din touch screen dvd. i think i paid $400 for it.. it has the capabilities to do NAV, satalliete radio, backup camera, etc IF you buy the adapters for it, that is why the initial cost is so low.

install it yourself, it will only take about 20-30 min if you have all the parts, one thing you will need is the ears from the factory radio, harness adapter, and a dash kit (i may have a kit laying around). if you are not comfortable doing it yourself i used to work at mobile sound systems in arlington, they do really nice installs, and i know the manager of car toys in lewiswille...... or if you just dont want to spend the money you may be able to pursued me into doing it.
