Well. Fluid level SEEMS to be the same, limited driving yesterday. Noise from just pressing and depressing the clutch. Noticed earlier at idle, if I lift off of the clutch it idles a tick lower at cold start and then if I press the clutch pedal down it ticks up 100-200 RPM. Normal?
Also.... The noise/ squeak/ squeal is when the clutch pedal is released after pressing it down.
Spoke with a member here about doing the clutch, it isn't slipping when I give it gas that I have noticed, even at lower speeds and mashing it down when in a higher gear at these lower speeds. Have a feeling it may be the slave or throw out bearing. Car has 37k miles on it. No racing, drifting, no dropping the clutch. Regardless, needs to be addressed.

Looked inside, clutch master is not leaking or wet. Going to watch the fluid level, at half now, over the next few drives. Can anything else leak in this system? 03 Touring 6SP. I also noticed the squeaking noise under the car is back when pressing the clutch pedal in, and has been for a few days on that end. Not sure if it is related or not.

Just an off the top of my head guess, it sounds like the throw out bearing. Mine did that for a while then got to the point to where i could hear it when i was driving past walls and stuff when i had my windows down. If you are going to pay the labor to replace the bearing, just pay the extra couple hundred bucks and replace everything in there all at once because either way the transmission will have to come out. I know Jim wolf has a very good set that I've had on both of my z's that comes with clutch, flywheel, bearing and if you're lucky, ss clutch line for about $775-$800 which is cheaper than just the OEM flywheel by itself.

Also, my kits came with the nismo pilot bushing and chromoly pivot ball as well. I ordered from conceptzperformance.com. I got lucky and they had a $1 shipping deal going at the time so i paid $776 shipped.
Not going to replace the flywheel since I am not looking to eek out any more performance. I am good and happy with what is there.
Pressure plate, clutch, throw out bearing is what I am thinking. I have heard there was an updated pivot ball for the 04-06 however in looking at pics it looks a bit shorter. Does this work okay and what is the benefit?
