Slicks are a whole new playing field -- looks like some fun times ahead if you do get them. Personally, I'd say stick with street tires for now, but all up to you.
I didn't need nitrous to beat you guys back then but seeing how weak my car's gotten, I'll probably need a little cheater shot or something, lol.

I do want to test out my nitrous to make sure everything works fine, though. It'd be nice if I finally got that 11 sec run as well -- so close, yet so far.

 

Chris - can you link me to your ball joint post? also - any reason why you didn't buy the entire control arm for 50 bucks off of rock auto?

Weird, another member PM'd me a few days ago with almost the same question. I don't know how much that arm is or if it's even the right one but I'd never spend money for an OEM part to replace a perfectly fine OEM part. Only the ball joints had gone bad and the install was easy. All of my experience with various ball joints are posted in that thread (and in this thread, too).
